With Karma celebrating their 15 year anniversary this Autumn what better way to start the celebrations with a re-issue of the Original Kizla graphic in white and blue from 2002, along with two new fresh colour ways!

Not a day goes by now without hearing how human activity is killing our planet, oceans, and the creatures living in it and on it. From water pollution to global warming, environmental issues affect every living thing, community and continent on the planet.

We all remember growing up hearing the wildlife & environmental organisations telling us that there is only one planet and we must look after it.

It perhaps didn't seem as important to us all back then, but now as increasing evidence supports the devastating effect mankind is having on the environment we have to create more awareness for these crucial issues, whichever way we can, whatever industry we are from.

The way we decided we could help create awareness is through our brand Karma Skateboards.

‘What goes around, comes around’ is the ethos behind Karma Skateboards, so we are proud to be doing our bit for the planet and environment by releasing a series of Karma skate decks called 'Skate for the Planet'.

Each deck in the 'Skate for the Planet' series depicts a current environmental or ecological issue. For every deck sold £2.50 will be donated to a chosen charity/organisation who are devoting their time, with some putting their lives at risk, to make things right for us all.

The first decks in a planned continuing series include:

Whales - over 2000 whales are killed each year. Donation will go to Sea Shepherd www.seashepherd.org

Ocean waste - by 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish. Donation will go to Surfers Against Sewage www.sas.org.uk

Give bees a chance - 45% loss of commercial honey bees in the UK since 2010. Donation will go to Give Bees a Chance. www.givebeesachance.org.uk

Each deck will come with a sheet of limited edition karma stickers and stickers of the chosen charities.

So lets do our bit for the planet.
